Personal Assistant to Director of Waste Management
Start: May 2024
Rate: £24.12 per hour (Grade 4), Inside IR35 via umbrella
Salary equivalent: £37,200 per annum
Duration: 3-6 months initially (very likely to extend)
Location: West Midlands
Working pattern: Full onsite – 5 days per week
Are you an experienced Personal Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to provide high-level support to a Director of Waste Management? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the Director's schedule, ensuring all appointments and commitments are organised and prioritised effectively
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely responses and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Anticipate the Director's needs and prepare briefing materials and presentations in advance of meetings and events
- Coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items to ensure timely completion
- Act as a confident decision-maker, managing correspondence and screening communications to maximise the Director's time and attention
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a wide range of personal assistant responsibilities, ideally supporting senior executives
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently, while also building effective relationships with senior stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to be flexible, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with diary management software
