Like every business across the world, Venn Group offices contribute daily to the emissions of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide through our electricity and gas usage, as well as our waste.

Aware of this and the wider concerns many hold, we take our environmental responsibility seriously. To offset the effect we have, we work with the Carbon Neutral Company. Not only do we attempt to recycle as much as possible, but through the Carbon Neutral Company we invest in a wind power project in Turkey which helps us offset our own emissions. The net result is we, as a group, are certified as CarbonNeutral®. This is the point at which all the greenhouse gas emissions from a particular company or activity have been reduced and then neutralised.

We were in fact the first recruitment consultancy in the world to be classed carbon neutral and we are justifiably very proud of it. In the meanwhile, we have regular collections made to ensure our waste paper is not just thrown away, but recycled; in a year we recycle several tonnes of paper - in other words nearly a hundred trees.
