Investors in People

       
 

Venn Group has always made our people – both our staff and our temporary contractors - the focus of what we are about. They represent who we are as a business and the standard that can be expected of us. We invest time, attention, care and training to bring out and get the very best out of everyone.

To assess ourselves from an external viewpoint, in August 2006 we applied for and were awarded Recognition of the Investors in People Standard.  Recognition of the Standard is a rigorous process that many organisations struggle to achieve so we are understandably very proud to have received this award.

To gain this achievement an external assessor interviewed a cross-section of our employees and temporary contractors, asking about issues including how our consultants perform and treat those who deal with them, our training programmes, the career paths we offer and what care, follow up and support we provide. A report was drawn up on the assessor’s findings and their recommendation for our recognition was submitted to a panel of assessors who agreed that we should receive this accreditation.

The report featured not only the findings, conclusions and recommendations, but also direct quotes from those that were spoken to. These include:
