Training and Development

       
 

Venn Group’s priority is to provide our candidates and clients with the best possible service. The ongoing training and development of our employees ensures they understand Venn Group’s objectives and are fully equipped to provide the optimum recruitment solution.

We support our people to achieve their potential through access to training programmes. Training and development needs are highlighted by company management and the recruitment professionals themselves. We have a dedicated and experienced department whose sole responsibility is the training and development of Venn Group’s employees.

Each recruitment consultant is appraised on a monthly and six monthly basis, where a training needs analysis takes place.  The appraisal discusses all areas of the role including client meetings, business development, account management, jobs in, jobs filled, hit rate and placed specialist contractors. Our support functions are given comparable appraisals on the areas of work relevant to them.

Regular meetings between the internal trainer and management highlight training requirements across the whole company. A thorough and effective training programme is then subsequently formed to match these requirements. Training is then provided using the following resources:

  • Venn Group training department and management team
  • External trainers who can bring in new ideas and solutions
  • External contractors to provide specialist industry training

A list is published monthly detailing courses available and the skills they will subsequently develop, in order that an informed decision can be made, as to whether it is the right course for staff to attend.

Venn Group guarantees a minimum of three weeks formal training for each new recruitment professional in their first year of joining Venn Group.
