Congratulations to Simon Hardy, who has been promoted to Associate Director after 14 years at Venn Group. Simon, Robert Bowyer and Philip Hanna provided comment on this fantastic achievement.
“After joining Venn Group in late November 2004 on the Public Sector Finance team, I am pleased to announce his promotion to Associate Director.
As a consultant he achieved a weekly billing of just under £10k, becoming Manager in 2009, and Senior Manager in 2013. Simon has opened four London teams; Commerce & Industry Finance Central, Commerce & Industry Finance West, Education Finance and Healthcare Finance & Procurement. He has subsequently promoted four of the current Managers; Hamish Harmer, Tim Goggin, Alethea Platt and Joe Olenka.
The structure we now have in place reflects the success Simon has enjoyed throughout. His business unit has grown significantly year on year in terms of both revenues generated and profit. This has enabled Venn Group to be an established and respected brand in financial recruitment, particularly within Simon’s unit covering Healthcare, Charity, Housing, Education and Private Sector markets.
I would like to congratulate Simon on this excellent achievement and wish him every success in his new role.”
Philip Hanna – Managing Director
“Simon has played a pivotal role in the development of our Public and Private Sector Finance division. He is highly regarded by his peers and a very welcome addition to the Director group.
Well done Simon; your promotion is thoroughly deserved.”
Robert Bowyer – Director
"I am proud to have been promoted to Associate Director, and I am conscious that this recognition is the result of not just my hard work, but also that of my colleagues.
14 years ago I joined Venn Group working as part of a financial recruitment team of 5. Today, we have 24 Consultants and Managers working collaboratively across 4 teams, with a strategy in place to expand further this year. We are now market leaders across Greater London and the South East for temporary, contract and interim recruitment within the finance and procurement sectors.
I think this growth demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit of Venn Group, built upon the culture we have created which values honest dialogue and integrity, and recognises and rewards success.
I am grateful to all those who have supported and developed me over my career so far and look forward to 2019, whatever Brexit may throw at us!"
