Robert Bowyer’s Cycle to Holland

Last week Venn Group Director, Robert Bowyer took on the monumental challenge of cycling to Holland in aid of the Wooden Spoon. So far he has raised over £1000; a fantastic achievement.

“Thank you to all that have supported me with my recent ride to Holland. Myself and two friends from Sevenoaks Rugby Club set out last Wednesday, riding 418km through the French, Belgium and Dutch countryside, arriving 3 days later in Weert.

I took on this challenge in support of the Wooden Spoon. The Wooden Spoon is a charity that changes children’s lives through the power of rugby. Each year they fund around 70 projects, from community programmes and specialist playgrounds to medical treatment centres and sensory rooms. Since 1983, they have distributed over £26 million to more than 700 projects, helping more than a million children.

I am very close to hitting the original target we set ourselves, therefore any further support would be very much welcome. Thank you again for taking the time to read my message and supporting what I feel is a very worthy cause:
