We are pleased to announce that our corporate charity partnership for 2020 will be Young Women’s Trust. For the last few years we have supported Young Women’s Trust with their Work it Out careers coaching service, and the decision to become a closer ally of the organisation enables us to assist them further and maximise the impact our experience as recruiters can have.
This year Young Women’s Trust are embarking on ambitious projects to increase their reach and become a centre for excellence, championing economic justice of women.
Their key projects are:
- Creating a manifesto with young women that ensures everyone understands that empowering this part of society is good for everyone.
- Building a platform of solidarity for the support of young women
- Becoming the leader in research for young women
- Gaining a geographical reach for their work across the UK
We are confident with Venn Group’s own national reach, our involvement with Young Women’s Trust will not only assist them in achieving success with these key projects, but also enable us to use our employment skills to add value to young women across the UK.
Having launched our nationwide Empowering Employment Initiative last year, we believe this partnership will take us one step further in our own objectives as a business. We are looking forward to continuing this important charity partnership and positively impacting young women’s lives.
This year also sees a change to how we partner with charities, as having chosen a national charity in Young Women’s Trust which marries with not only our ethos but also our skills we will also be selecting charities around the country so our consultants can use their volunteering days to support the needs of their communities.
