ICT Programme Manager

A local authority in London is currently recruiting for an ICT Programme Manager to join them on an interim basis.

The ICT Programme Manager will be a key member within the newly re-structured ICT team, working in an exciting ICT environment with Windows 10 and Office 365 across the estate. The ICT Programme Manager will manage the overall ICT project portfolio and the programme management office, currently comprising of around 100 business-as-usual projects. The ICT Programme Manager is responsible for ensuring successful business change through the implementation of robust technology solutions across the full range of public facing and back office services and managing the performance of service providers in the delivery of ICT projects.

The successful ICT Programme Manager will have:

* Managed, led and delivered a range of complex ICT programmes and projects
* Public Sector experience, ideally in a Local Authority
* Experience of managing a programme management office
* Solid understanding of project / programme management methodologies i.e. MSP / Prince2
* Excellent knowledge of current and future enabling technology
* Up-to-date knowledge of new technology, service improvement in other local authorities and changes in legislation that affect key services
