VACANCY – Accommodation Support Manager
Location: Warwickshire and West Mercia(To be based at one site)
Length: 6 Months temporary with the view of going permanent
Salary: £14 - £15.00 via Umbrella
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00am-17:00pm
Venn Group are currently recruiting for multiple Accommodation Support Officers to work in set locations within Warwickshire and West Mercia. You will provide structured, tailored, one-to-one and group resettlement support to men in custody and under probation supervision in the community. Said candidates will need to have a full drivers licence with access to a vehicle and be immediately available to interview and start.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage and provide supervision for a team of Accommodation Advisors, who provide accommodation case work and support to individuals in custody, post release or on community orders
- Help shape the service going forward in partnership with the Senior Management Team Work collaboratively in multi-agency settings as required
- Maintain a professional relationships and appropriate levels of confidentiality of information
- Have proven experience of working in accommodation/housing settings, social care, homelessness, housing management or advice and guidance
- Previous experience of managing and supervising a team
- Experience of meeting contractual targets, objectives and management performance
- Knowledge of and ability to implement new services and contracts
- Experience of supervising staff who are working one-on-one with and assessing the needs of individuals in the criminal justice system; homeless people, or similar disadvantaged client groups
Essential experience/requirements:
- Experience within supporting Ex-Offenders
- Enhanced DBS
- Full Licence with access to vehicle
