**New Opportunity – Admin Assistant**
Job: Admin Assistant to Chair of Council and Director of Governance
Location: Southeast London
WFH: Remote, some office attendance for events and meetings
Hourly rate: £15-17 ph PAYE including holiday pay
Hours: 35 hours
Duration: 4 months
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- To work with the member services admin team to meet the demands and needs of the members of the organisation
- To carry out PA duties, including diary management, secretarial duties and general support of the Chair of Council and Director Governance and Legal Services
- To efficiently organise meetings at the request of the Chair of Council and Director of Governance and Legal Services as provide administrative support for those meeting papers, including preparing and distributing meeting materials and taking note
- To process the expenses of the Chair of Council
- To book travel and make arrangements for the attendance of the Chair of Council at external events
- To confidently handle enquiries from both internal and external sources by telephone and email
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
- PA / Admin experience in public sector
