Job description: A North West law firm is seeking an Associate Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team in Manchester. They work in a hybrid way, with colleagues dividing their time between working from home and from the office.
The work you do will make a real difference to building better communities for our members, customers, and colleagues. In this role, you’ll provide outstanding customer care across a varied case load of pre-litigated and litigated cases, using your professional expertise to recover compensation for your clients. You won’t need to bring a following of clients with you as they use innovative technology to support your delivery, allowing you to focus on supporting our customers.
The successful candidate will be dealing with:
- Line management responsibilities for a small team, developing them in an inclusive way
- Working closely with our existing business partners through continued growth of the department, using market insights to advise on opportunities to improve
- Assisting in marketing activities, working closely with marketing, digital and the partnerships team
- Preparing content for our website
- Managing a caseload of clinical negligence cases end to end using a case management system to accurately record information
- Providing advice to clients in relation to medical negligence via phone, email, and letter
- Building positive relationships with internal and external parties
- Managing a workload effectively making sure that targets are met, and case progression is clear
This role is suited to candidates who have:
- Post-qualification experience as a claimant clinical negligence solicitor
- The ability to build positive relationships with a range of teams and partners
- A keen interest in business development with previous experience of building business partner relationships and seeking out opportunities for development
- The ability to use a case management system, and good general IT skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise your work
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000K plus benefits DOE
Hours per Week: 37.5
