Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Analyst – AVP (Contract Role)
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Analyst to join an existing programme at a bank in the City of London.
This contract position has arisen out of a need to roll out the bank’s IT Disaster Recovery programme, and covers several areas, including Operational Resilience, Technology, Business Continuity, and Change Management.
The aim of this contract is to assist with the IT infrastructural roll out of changes to the bank whilst adhering to internal policies and procedures as well as external regulations. Once delivered, it is expected that this role will develop to encompass more of the aforementioned responsibilities.
This candidate will be responsible for strengthening all aspects of this programme, defining the bank’s best practice policies across the EMEA region. This position reports in to a Project Manager leading this project and sits at the AVP-level.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Business Continuity environments across the Financial Services sector. They will be adept at interpreting regulatory parameters, defining business requirements, and eliciting key information from this process for escalation to key stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.
Candidates will be required to manage multiple converging deadlines and work collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite when applying for this position, as the candidate will be expected to deliver complex and informative reports to stakeholders and internal teams regularly.
Prior experience designing and applying Disaster Recovery plans will be beneficial, as it will allow the candidate to hit the ground running. As such, we welcome applications from those with experience managing complex projects within banking environments.
