Change Communications Lead
We are currently recruiting for a Change Communications Lead on behalf of one of our clients, an integral and busy central government body.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the organisation at an exciting time of change.
Contract length: 6 months
Location: London / Working from home
Salary Range: £400-£500 a day Umbrella Inside IR35
Responsibilities include:
· Developing strategic approaches and communication plans
· Creating, managing and facilitating effective communications
· Tracking the status of the project and managing issues and risks as and when they arise
· Managing external suppliers and delivery partners
· Removing impediments and blockers and resolving complex problems
· Delivering content and working closely with the Head of Change Communication campaigns
· Delivering communication regarding the new system
· Communicate and promote the new system internally while highlighting the benefits of important changes
Essential Requirements:
· Have a proven track record of strategically leading and delivering change communications campaigns across a range of organisations
· Knowledge of change communication theory
· Able to work at a strategic level, with the ability to map and plan across and wide range of portfolios
· Understand complex environments and the challenges of delivering into central government organisations
· Experience in a management or lead communications role
· Experience working in internal communications preferably in the public sector and specifically within a change communication role
· Able to understand complex concepts and communicate them in a simple manner
· Highly motivated, delivery focused, pragmatic and have an open and honest approach
· Confident communicator with the ability to persuade, negotiate, influence, network and work with internal leaders and stakeholders
