Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours
Rate: £38,000 - £44,000 per annum
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist on behalf of a reputable NHS Trust based in Lincolnshire. This is an interim permeant position offering £38,000 - £44,000 per annum this position; you will be working full-time hours (Monday to Friday).
Outline duties below:

Responsible for the autonomous provision of a specialist psychological service for clients referred to the Adult Eating Disorders Service

Targeting teaching staff to enable them to recognise the signs and be able to sign post the CYP onto the most appropriate for the individual

Offering clinical supervision to psychologists in training and assistant psychologists

Carrying a personal caseload and provides specialist psychological services to clients, and to other agencies

Managing a caseload of patients within the Lincolnshire Adult Eating Disorders Service.

Meeting appropriate standards of practice. This will include the standards defined by the British Psychological Society (including the Division of Clinical Psychology and the Division of Counselling Psychology where relevant)

Formulating and implement plans for the psychological treatment and management of patient is presenting problems based upon the appropriate theoretical and conceptual framework. The employment of these methods should be based upon evidence based practice and efficacy

Implementing a range of psychological interventions for patients, carers, families and groups

Providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patient’s formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan

Undertaking risk assessment and risk management for individual patients and provide general advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management

Communicating, in a sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of patients.

Monitoring and evaluating progress with robust discharge planning when appropriate

Representing the Adult Eating Disorders Service and Young Minds Matter with other agencies and care providers, and to provide advice and leadership in respect of psychological aspects of client care

Ensuring the development, maintenance and dissemination of the highest professional standards and practice, through the active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes
