Locum Commercial Disputes Solicitor – Fully Remote – 9-Month Contract

Venn Group's specialist legal team is recruiting for a Locum Commercial Disputes Solicitor on behalf of a well-regarded legal services organisation. This is a fully remote locum assignment covering a period of maternity leave for approximately 9 months.

This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied Commercial Disputes caseload while working as part of a supportive and experienced litigation team.

The Role

Managing a broad range of Commercial Disputes matters
Advising on contractual disputes, property-related disputes, directors' duties, trespass and nuisance claims
Handling matters from inception through to conclusion
Liaising with clients, counsel, insurers, courts and other third parties
Working within an insurance-backed litigation environment
Providing pragmatic, commercial legal advice
Supporting senior lawyers on more complex litigation matters where required

About You

Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or equivalent
Previous experience handling Commercial Litigation or Commercial Disputes matters
Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
Strong communication and client care skills
Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities effectively
Insurance litigation experience would be advantageous but is not essential
