Interim Commissioning Manager – Health, Prevention and Wellbeing
Location: London, flexible working
Length: 3 months initially

An opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for an Interim Commissioning Manager – Health, Prevention and Wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work with the Voluntary Charity Sector overseeing the councils work with their Umbrella company and review the services performance.
Key responsibilities of the Commissioning Manager for Health, Prevention and Wellbeing includes:
- Lead on the development of specific policies and procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement in own work area
- Manage individual projects or systems to ensure work objectives are delivered in line with agreed standards and/or statutory requirements
- Develop, coordinate and run workshops for Carers Strategy
- Deliver information advice, advocacy and supported services
- Strong performance monitoring and data quality mechanisms and processes, including audit of performance in line with national standards and performance measures
Essential experience for the Commissioning Manager for Health, Prevention and Wellbeing includes:
- Demonstrable experience in commissioning within a Local Authority or Charity organisation
- Ability to build credible relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills as well as the ability to analyse data
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to successfully manage several tasks and multiple priorities to a successful outcome to tight deadlines
