Job Title: Administrator – Housing Compliance

Venn Group has been approached by a housing association to recruit for a Gas & Heating Support Officer on a 6 month fixed term contract.
As the successful candidate, you will have experience working as an Administrator for a Housing Association or Construction company.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with work associated with the annual gas servicing programme for access to all properties
- Contacting customers, contractors and line managers in relation to queries and gas meter installation; and electrical repairs/maintenance/breakdown issues
- Supporting the Heating Team to maintain and keep the gas servicing records, contractor liaison and formal contract meetings up-to-date
- To provide assistance with arranging audits via a 3rd party auditor for completed jobs carried out by the contractor
- To support the Heating Team with arranging legal visits with the local authority
- Escalating the risk of potential non-compliance to the Heating Manager
- Ensuring accurate record keeping and the provision of timely updates in relation to component renewals to the Assets team
- Supporting the Voids Team with all gas related activities
- To work closely with other departments to ensure access to properties with vulnerable customers
- Working with the Heating Team to produce relevant reports
- Assisting the Heating Team to organise and schedule works for the Gas Engineers
- Monitor, report and advise on compliance performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in terms of productivity and efficiency
The successful candidate should have / be:
- A good knowledge of gas statutory compliance and gas management requirements in housing maintenance
- Social Housing experience
- Computer literate
