Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
Fully Remote. Circa £62,000 – £66,000
A well-regarded local authority is seeking an experienced Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to join its collaborative in-house legal team.
This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to undertake varied, high-quality procurement and commercial work within a supportive and flexible environment.
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of matters including:
- High-value contract tenders
- Procurement compliance and governance
- Commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation
- Funding and grant agreements
- Consultancy arrangements
- Framework and partnership agreements
- Shared service and inter-authority arrangements
This is not a narrow technical role. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, providing practical and commercially-minded legal advice that supports key operational and strategic priorities.
The legal team operates with a high degree of trust and autonomy, offering lawyers the flexibility to manage their own workload while remaining well-supported by colleagues and management.
