Opportunity to qualify as Licensed Conveyancer
Boutique practice seeks experienced Paralegal to join their conveyancing team. This position will see you working closely alongside one of the firms Directors and offers access to ongoing training and development.
The position will evolve over time. Initially you will support the Director with their caseload gaining exposure to all aspects of residential conveyancing. Typical duties will include drafting Contracts, Transfers and Mortgage Deeds and commissioning and reporting on searches and mortgage offers. You will have a high level of contact with clients and first parties and so excellent communication skills are essential.
Once you have gained confidence, knowledge and experience you will be entrusted with a small caseload to handle under supervision. The firm will continue to support your professional development and will provide ongoing training with a view to enabling you to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer.
A competitive salary of £22,500 is on offer, dependent on experience.
We are keen to hear from paralegals with experience working in a conveyancing department. The essential and desirable candidate criteria are outlined below.
Essential
- A minimum of 6 months experience working in a conveyancing department
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- 12 months + experience working in a conveyancing department
- Strong IT, administrative and organisation skills
