**New Opportunity – Datix Improvement Manager**
Venn Group have a new opportunity for a Datix Improvement Manager to join a large NHS Trust in Kent, please see below;
Job Title: Datix Improvement Manager
Location: Canterbury or Ashford or Margate
Daily rate: £253.67 PAYE inc holiday pay, or £286.58 via an umbrella company
Duration: 9 months
WFH: 2-3 days onsite
Hours: 37.5 per week (4 days would be considered)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Following an internal review of the current configuration of modules, fields and integration – manage a project to make the system more efficient and easier to use, based on the recommendations from the review. Note this will entail both making the incident forms/fields more user-friendly as well as revamping the modules we use. The current architecture is inefficient, does not integrate, and does not allow for ease of reporting (both into system and out of system).
- The applicant will have experience in reconfiguring Datix, building modules to suit Trust need, and creating supportive documentation, SOPs and processes for sustained use
- The modules currently in use include Legal module, Complaints module, CAS Alerts and Incidents – there is a need to integrate modules, improve the actions module and also migrate PALS data from the superseded RichClient
- This will be managed as a project: the Executive Director of Quality Governance will be the Sponsor and the deputy director will be the lead. There will be administrative support for the project
- The post will report to the Deputy Director of Quality Governance
- There is a Datix Manager on site who can support, but the expectation is that this candidate will lead the change and direct the current manager on process change needs
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
- Datix Certified Professional (DCP) qualification
- NHS Datix experience, leading on projects
