Domestic Violence Administrator (MARAC) Required via Venn Group:
A Supported Living organisation in Bristol for a part time temporary MARAC administrator for a Domestic Violence service to join their friendly team
Locations: North Somerset
Position: MARAC Administrator
Duration: 3 months +
Hours: Part time 18.75 per week
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the MARAC, working closely with domestic violence services to support the sharing of information and agreed action plans regarding families at high risk of domestic abuse
- Ensure consistency in referral of cases onto the MARAC database from referring agencies
- To refer MARAC cases ahead of meetings to the IDVA service in a timely way
- Prepare MARAC agenda to ensure that cases are reviewed
- Prepare accurate minutes of meetings, record and collect data using the case management system
- Maintain an action list following meetings to ensure they are completed within specified timeframes
- Maintain a tracking system of MARAC cases
- Liaise with external agencies and community groups to deliver best access to services and community engagement for service users
Essential job requirements:
- A current enhanced DBS
- Knowledge of MARAC or a background working in a domestic violence service
- Administrative background within supported housing
- Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- A driver with access to their own car
Desirable job requirements:
- Knowledge of domestic violence support
- Knowledge surrounding rights of women and MARAC
