Venn Group are currently recruiting for an Early Careers Recruitment Managerfor a Public Sector Organisation based in Coventry. This is a 12 month contract initially, offering an annual salary of £38,380 to £44,900, plus benefits.
This will be a hybrid role, 1 – 2 days on site per week.
Responsibilities:
- Create an annual plan for recruitment of apprentices and graduates based on business needs/ strategic workforce development plans and organisational objectives
- Develop the Early Careers strategy, maintaining management information and metrics and managing the Early Careers budget including the Government Apprenticeship Levy account
- Lead on the development and implementation of early careers programmes from conception to launch
- Work closely with the Capability and Organisational Development Manager to develop both mandatory and bespoke training packages for each early career’s cohort alongside a bespoke induction programme
- Develop creative and engaging attraction, recruitment and selection strategies and social media campaigns to ensure quality and pipeline of candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, and universities; acting as a liaison with industry organisations and attending careers fairs as appropriate to promote opportunities
- Monitor diversity of intakes onto the various programmes to identify any underrepresented groups and develop action plans to address
- Collate feedback from participants and other stakeholders, evaluating the impact of early talent programmes and recommending future improvements and opportunities to grow provision
- Lead on regular progress review process, involving managers and training providers as appropriate to ensure that the development needs of those on programme are identified and given priority through personally tailored development plans
- Identify and select external training providers, working in line with agreed procurement frameworks, to provide timely, cost effective and high-quality apprenticeship training across the various programmes
