Job description: On behalf of a law firm in the North of England, we are currently recruiting for a Locum Employment Solicitor on a fully remote basis. The role is likely to be long-term, with the firm requiring ongoing cover until a permanent member of staff joins the team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor and will be comfortable managing their own respondent and contentious caseload. They will also possess extensive experience advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters.

In addition, the firm can be flexible regarding the start date, although it would ideally like to have cover in place by the end of September.

Working hours: Preference for full time, but will consider a minimum of 3 days per week

Working arrangement: Fully remote

Length of assignment: Initially 3 months with the strong likelihood of further extension

Rate of pay: £50.00 - £60.00 per hour (outside IR35)
