ESOL Lecturer - Immediately Required
Duration: Temporary
Location: Wisbech
Hours: Tuesday and Thursday, 18 hours per week
Pay Rate: c.£20 an hour via Umbrella Company
An opening has arisen for an ESOL lecturer to be based in Wisbech. Said individual will contribute to the Department’s aim to ensure learner outcomes are appropriately monitored and maximised with no issues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Create lesson plans, assessment plans and learning materials
- Produce assessment plans and effectively monitor student development
- Contribute to student reports, records of achievement and references
- Maintain necessary Course guides and relevant information
- Assistant in timetabling and rooming requirements for relevant course
- Communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students
- Act as a Course Director and personal tutor
- Participate in pre-inspection programme about the college
- Undertake additional work from the Principal when required
- Development of new qualifications as required
- Work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College
The successful candidate will have:
- Level 3 or above Mathematics qualification
- Level 5 teaching qualification or be willing to obtain one
- FE teaching experience
- Full UK driving licence
- PT Qualification
- TAQA or Assessors / IQA Qualification
