Venn Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist with expertise in loan, trade and derivative documentation. This position offers the chance to work at a Global Bank based in London. The contract has an initial duration of approximately 6 months with a view to extend further.
The candidate will assist the banks Front Office business by supporting the execution and control of new transaction for loan, derivative and trade finance products. It is essential that the candidate has experience reviewing, booking and maintaining contractual documentation, while ensuring all organisational and regulatory rules and procedures are followed.
Regular reviews of legal documentation will be required, executing and approving credit limits, ensuring all internal and external standards are adhered to. The candidate will need to escalate risks, develop strategies to mitigate future breaches, and develop procedures by working with Front Office.
The role requires the candidate to have in-depth understanding of the syndicated loan market, key risks and associated control points in the transaction lifecycle, loan, trade and derivative documentation and knowledge of Loan Market Association working practices.
Significant experience within financial services environments is essential, with exposure to syndicated loan markets.
It is required that the candidate can multi-task and change priorities at short notice, whilst continuing to supply quality service. Additional duties include the execution and approval of loan documentation, risk mitigation, assist with deal closing, and establishing KPIs and the management of internal and external relationships across multiple departments.
