A position has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join an excellent Multi Academy Trust based in Surrey. The organisation plays a key role in helping young people and have an excellent work ethic.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Length: temp - perm
Job responsibilities include:
- Managing the accounts payable function
- Managing the accounts receivable function
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- Posting daily bank receipts onto finance system
- Managing income collection, banking and recording for all events
- Following the guidance on cash handling procedures
- Ensuring that all payments and receipts are posted on the finance system in a timely manner
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience
- Experience of working in the Education sector
- Experience working on the AP and AR ledgers
- Experience of using a computerised financial systems and desktop packages
