A Primary School based in North West London are recruiting a Finance Assistant. The post holder will be a crucial member to the finance team and will assist with administration of the schools finance.
Your duties will include:
- Maintain manual and computerised financial records in relation to the purchase and sales ledgers
- Banking, monitoring, and reconciling of school income
- Review the aged debtors and creditors listings regularly and ensure these are well managed
- Manage supplier and customer relationships in connection to creditor payments and invoices raised
- Make payments to suppliers and raise customer invoices in a timely manner
- Ensure all month-end procedures and reconciliations assigned to post holder are completed
- Provide administrative and organisational support to other staff
- Prepare the monthly VAT returns
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience working in the Education sector
- Currently hold an enhanced DBS, or be willing to have one
- Have experience working in a financial management team

Working pattern: Term time including INSET days, plus 10 days to be worked during summer break (41 weeks per annum)
