Remote Working
We are currently working with an organisation who require the interim support of couple of experienced Finance Business Partners who have worked extensively within the local government. Please see below for further details:
Finance Business Partner
Duration: Three months initially
Rate: Up to £300 per day via umbrella company status (Inside IR35)
Start: ASAP
FULLY REMOTE WORKING
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner as required to drive internal communication regarding information collated from the organisations system
- Manage transactional data and produce reporting for senior contacts within the organisation
- Assist with and be responsible for management accounting as well as aspects of financial analysis on a daily basis
- Ensure the financial procedures operate efficiently and effectively in accordance with financial regulations
- Recommending sign of on revenue budgets within guidelines whilst taking into account legislative changes where appropriate
- Report monthly financials to Directors and to prepare financial accounts for the organisation within strict timelines/deadlines
Finance Business Partner (Service Finance)
Duration: Three months initially
Rate: Up to £350 per day via umbrella company status (Inside IR35)
Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
- To support the Head of Finance, Senior Finance Business Partner, Chief Accountant and Chief Financial Officer to sign off of external auditor issues with the external auditors prior to the clearance meeting
- Provide support to the Head of Finance, Senior Finance Business Partner, Chief Accountant and Chief Financial Officer in developing a robust financial plan that balances the needs of the organisation within the funding envelope available to it for the relevant Directorate(s)
- Be the point of contact at the forefront of change and work with and advise senior management and Directors on the development of key change activities and how the changes may have a financial impact on the organisation
- Provide solutions and independent advice, support and suggest key recommendations across the organisation
Requirements:
- It is essential to have previous experience working within the public sector and highly desirable to have local government experience
- It is highly desirable to have experience using the system Controcc but not essential
