Job description: We are currently recruiting for a temporary Finance Manager to join a public sector organisation in Merseyside. The client is looking for someone to work full time hours, on a hybrid basis for 2-3 months with the possibility of extension. Part time applications will also be considered.
Duties will include:
- Reporting into, and providing advice to the Finance Leadership team
- Managing a transactional team
- Reviewing and highlighting issues, recommending and creating a delivery plan
- Managing and processing a back log of invoices
- Reviewing the new financial process
- Improving new financial systems
- Accurate Data Entry
The successful candidate will be happy reporting in to the Leadership with confidence and be able to look at the organisation’s systems and advise on improvements.
Salary/ Hourly rate: DOE
Working hours: 35 hours per week
