Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 13:00 Friday
Salary: £75,000 per annum + 10% bonus and company benefits

Job description: We are recruiting a Financial Controller for a well-established and reputable organisation based in the Warwick area. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is wishing to develop their skills by providing management and leadership of accounting to deliver high quality statutory reporting, forecasts and budgets.
You will be expected to:
- Direct company performance through selecting and measuring financial and non-financial performance indicators
- Support decision making by analysing, evaluating and communicating financial performance and positions of entities
- Consult on design and use of the latest technology and information systems to evolve decision making and organisational performance
- Manage working capital including cash, stock, debtors and creditors
- Advise on capital projects and investments through the use of analytical qualitative and quantitative techniques
- Recommend the right strategies to ensure the organisation adheres to governance structures and applies best practice internal controls
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported supported by best-in-class technological solutions
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, group reporting and audit packs, tax packs and computations using appropriate technology
- Monitor, evaluate and advise on accounting standards regulations, conceptual and financial reporting frameworks
- Manage and motivate people to optimise performance and effectiveness including the setting of annual objectives, monitoring of performance and annual appraisals
- Responsible for the management, compliance and upkeep of the quality and environmental procedures, records, and documents relevant to the role
The ideal candidate will:
- Be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Have experience in working with large teams, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Possess strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills and able to work to tight deadlines
- Have strong personal and communication skills alongside confident leadership and management skills
