Financial Planning and Performance Analyst required

Contract Length: 3 months + (Temp to perm)
Hours: 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri)
Hourly Rate: Negotiable (based on experience)
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning and Performance Analyst for our client who are a prestigious higher educational organisation based in South Wales
Duties will include:
- Support bi-annual budget cycles, through preparation of budget consolidation files, generating insightful analysis and reporting
- Support the maintenance and development of financial modeling to improve the accuracy of financial planning and longer-term forecasting.
- Support financial benchmarking for monthly reporting and at budget setting, sharing insight with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Assist with the University’s monthly financial reporting processes
- Play a lead role in the preparation and development of TRAC reporting and data collection methods – preparing complex models and undertaking cost driver/allocation analysis
- Generate material and deliver training sessions to staff within the wider University to enhance the understanding of TRAC and key inputs and deliverables and process improvement required.
- Support the maintenance and development of financial modeling to improve the accuracy of financial planning and longer-term forecasting.
- Sharing knowledge with the Finance Business Partners and senior finance stakeholders to enhance understanding of the University’s overall financial results, risks and opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
- CCAB recognised qualification (Or working towards)
- Advanced level ability in standard office packages (spreadsheet; word processing; database; presentation software) and accounting software such as Agresso and ABW
