A reputable NHS Trust based in Surrey is recruiting for a Governance Administrator to join their Women’s Health and Paediatrics Division. The post holder will support the Quality, Safety & Learning Team by providing administrative, clerical and secretarial tasks to facilitate the improvement of clinical services across the Women’s Health & Paediatrics Division.
Job responsibilities include:
- To be the first point of contact for the Quality, Safety & Learning Team dealing with routine and non-routine enquiries, communicating relevant information to the most appropriate person in the Team
- Answering calls, taking messages and passing on to the relevant person and signposting
- Preparing agendas and papers for governance meeting across the division and minute taking at designated meetings
- Advise and support the division with their clinical audit activity and act as a facilitator, co-cordinating multidisciplinary national and local clinical audit projects
- Diary management includes making and changing appointments for the Quality, Safety & Learning Team as well as organising and booking meetings
Candidate profile:
- Significant experience working in an office setting, undertaking a range of administrative tasks
- Significant experience of tracking and monitoring progress/compliance
- Previous NHS/Healthcare experience
- Experience of quality control assessment and monitoring
- Competent user of Microsoft packages including excel, word, publisher, outlook. Knowledge of collating, theming and reporting data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised
Daily Rate: Band 4
Contract type: 3 Months (likely to extend)
Working pattern: Fully onsite
Working Hours: 37.5
