Head of Clinical Services
Venn Group is currently working with a Private Healthcare Organisation based in Central London who require a Head of Clinical Services to work alongside the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other members in leading, directing and motivating clinical teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Taking responsibility for effectively implementing clinical policies and procedures to enable the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of patient care and employee engagement
- Supervising the site management teams to ensure the integrity of all clinical functions across London
- Providing leadership and strategic direction for clinical services in London, in line with overall strategic and business goals, acting as a role model for organisational culture and values in order to achieve the goals and direction for the medical teams
- The development and delivery of high quality, evidence based, in-patient service in a changing health care environment
- Managing an effective pre-operative and post-operative department in order to ensure a seamless patient journey from booking to post-operative surgery
- The management of the admission processes, safe and appropriate patient management, and the achievement of related and reportable care targets
- Implementing Policies and Procedures as required and providing support and advice to colleagues to embed new working practices
- Preparing relevant reports on audit outcomes, complaints, policy updates and incidents in a timely manner to allow management teams at site level and head office to review at relevant meetings
- Overseeing and improve surgical turnover; including start and finish times and turnaround time whilst maintaining safety as key priority
- Maximising all theatre utilisation and capacity availability, setting targets to improve
The successful candidate will:
- Be NMC Registered
- Have significant experience in Clinical Leadership of Surgical Services within the Private sector
