Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Head of Corporate Events for a public sector organisation based in Nottingham. This is a permanent contract offering an annual salary of £40,927 - £45,000.
This position can accommodate either part time or full time working either 29 hours or 36.25 hours a week.
Duties:
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to planning the corporate events programme which ensures integration with broader reputation building and staff and student engagement campaigns
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to the support of events which emerge organically across the University but have high potential to build corporate reputation
- Create and maintain processes for use by event managers across the University and ensure that they are communicated and understood
- Lead the high quality and safe delivery of high-profile corporate events (in person, digital or mixed) in the UK, and occasionally internationally, liaising with communications venues, speakers and IT as required
- Develop KPIs and other measures of success
- Analyse and interpret data, identifying trends, testing solutions and reporting on progress and impact through briefings or formal reports
- Apply initiative to devise varied and creative event formats, with a focus on audience needs and University objectives
- Revise strategic approaches to incorporate any significant changes to priorities, policy, legislation or regulation, responding to and applying any necessary changes to working practices
- Ensure effective record keeping practices, including updating records of registrants and attendees in a timely manner
- Manage the corporate events budget, contributing to annual budget statements and forecasts as required
