Estates Officer (Health & Safety Lead)
A position has become available for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a team in a leading healthcare organisation in the Devon area on a temporary 9 month ongoing basis.
Your daily duties will include:
- Covering multiple sites in throughout Devon carrying out inspection audits
- Advise and support managers on Health & Safety legislation, appraise Health & Safety risks and identify workplace hazards
- Provide effective control measures and monitor performance
- Review and advise on improvements to Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current legislative requirements
- Report on RIDDORs
- Train stakeholders on Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Liaise with and assist the Fire Safety Officer as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
- You must have experience of working within a similar position and be NEBOSH qualified
- Hold a full, UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
