Housing Assistant

An established housing association is looking for a Housing Assistant to join their busy team and support the administrative duties across their housing services in the Oxfordshire area.
Type: Temporary ongoing
Location: Oxfordshire with occasional travel across the patch
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Daily duties:

Provide Administrative Support to Area Managers, Housing Services Officers, Rent Services Officers and Estate Services including but not limited to: Undertaking mail merges, printing letters, deal with customer queries

Follow company processes to complete Mutual Exchanges in line with the deadlines, keeping all parties updated

Carry our login/log out each day for officers and managers in line with the lone worker policy

Use relevant IT systems to allocate incoming post and other documents as required, in line with the duty rota and management of the In-Box. Clear all tasks to set timescales, to a high quality; dealing with Call Backs in a customer focussed manner

Follow the process to complete Court Applications for Gas Injunctions, and Warrants

Follow the process to arrange EPC’s for the Voids and Lettings Teams

To manage garage tenancies including liaising with Housing Services Officers and producing Licenses

Support Finance by raising Purchase Orders and coding Invoices as directed
Essential Requirements:
-
Previous experience within an administrative role

Some knowledge of Housing required

Excellent communication and IT skills including Microsoft Office

A full and valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred
