VACANCY – Housing Officer
Duration: 8 weeks with the potential of extension
Location: Hybrid / Burton
Hours: 35.7 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9-5)
Pay Rate: £19 - £21 via Umbrella (dependant on experience)
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer to work for a large Housing Association based in Burton-on-Trent. Our client is looking for an individual who can prioritise caseloads and work co-operatively to ensure tenancies are managed. Said candidate must hold a full driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Manage a patch area of approximately 700 properties whilst focusing predominately on Housing Management
- Liaise with external agencies and tenant representatives, as necessary
- Manage ASB cases in a proactive manner assessing the risk and responding appropriately
- Undertake timely new tenancy visits
- Carry out all duties in compliance with legal requirements and Trent & Dove policy
- Work in accordance with Safeguarding responsibilities ensuring referrals are raised
- Ensure full and accurate records are maintained
The successful candidate will have:
- An enhanced DBS
- Hold a full driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
- Previous experience working in this position
