Housing Support Officer Immediately Required
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Coventry (Initially Home Working – Subject to change)
Hours: 37 Hours, Monday – Friday
Rate: £11 - £12 Inclusive Of Holiday Pay
An opening has arisen for an immediately available Housing Support Officer for a Local Authority in Warwickshire. This position will require candidates who have knowledge and experience of Homelessness and Housing related matters.
The successful candidate have experience in a similar position and be responsible for:
- Working as part of a team to ensure at the Housing & Homelessness function delivers the organisational vision for service delivery
- Responding to a range of administrative tasks
- Engaging with customers to gather information to support decision making and services
- Working to support Housing & Homelessness in the delivery of its statutory requirements
- Carrying out administrative tasks to support the day to day activities of Housing & Homelessness
- Working as part of a team to achieve performance objectives
- Culture where the customer is at the heart of everything it does
- Have clear knowledge about housing and homelessness although you will not be expected to make homeless decisions or assessments
- Undertaking day to day duties to ensure business is effective and efficient as possible
The successful candidate will have:
- An enhanced DBS
- Driving Licence and ability to use their own vehicle
