Venn Group is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner for a Private Sector Organisation based in Birmingham. This role is permanent working 37.5 hours a week.
This will pay a salary of £40,846. This job role will require the successful candidate to work on site 2/3 days a week on site and the remainder WFH as 50/50 split.
Duties:
- To provide proactive HR coaching and support to the Branch and Departmental Managers in the operational delivery of business objectives. This will incorporate managing the implementation of HR plans including annual events in the HR calendar, specialist projects as well as the day to day delivery of the People Plan
- To develop an in-depth understanding of Branch/Departmental structures, practice areas, priorities and plans including an awareness of the external conditions and direct competition
- Work closely with managers to identify local, strategic resourcing requirements (identify, analyse and measure skill/capability gaps etc.) and support the selection of key business hires.
- Support managers with the development of a business case to recruit to critical or unplanned vacancies
- Support the local management teams in retention through employee development and succession planning; securing the best available skills, ensuring the right mix is achieved; develop retention plans for specialist disciplines by promoting key benefits and utilising career frameworks to manage individual careers and aspirations
- Support local management in completing annual performance management processes
- Support managers in the resolution of performance capability and or development needs that may arise through to the appropriate conclusion
- Work with the local management teams and L&D colleagues to ensure any future development requirements are identified, planned and delivered
- Support local management in completing the incremental cycles including salary reviews.
- Where appropriate, support managers in benchmarking specialist roles internally or in the external market
- Ensure employees have access to and utilise the appropriate channels for HR advice and services
- To provide MI people data and analytics to the Managers and HoHR to enable the development of an effective Branch/Departmental People Plan. This will include providing a summary analysis of data, with recommendations
- To ensure policies and procedures are updated and fit for purpose, in line with legislation and the firm’s culture
- Provide input and/or project manage programmes which contribute to the people and wider firm strategy
