HR Business Partner

Venn Group are pleased to have partnered with a very well-regarded Oxfordshire-based organisation in the Education sector, to source a pragmatic and versatile HR Business Partner for an initial three-month period. This is a remote working position, paying £23.01 per hour + holiday pay.
Your duties will include:
- Working closely with the HR Team Leader on the management of complex or high-risk cases, up to and including employment tribunals
- Delivering high-level, non-routine operational advice and assistance to employing departments of the organisation across the full range of HR issues, including discipline, grievance, organisational change, TUPE, grading, and local interactions with staff representatives, as well as advice on the interpretation of university personnel policy on matters such as recruitment, equal opportunities, retirement, and voluntary severance
- Understanding divisional business objectives and providing HR support and advice as necessary to achieve those objectives, managing any associated risks in the process
- Assisting with the development and review of operational personnel policies and procedures as required
- Contributing to regular training and briefing sessions for HR managers and departmental administrators tailored to each division’s requirements
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience in the Education sector (desirable)
- Sound understanding of employment law
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice and experience handling an ER caseload
