HR System Specialist (iTrent)
Our client located in Dorset is looking for a HR System Specialist to come on board on a for a 24-month fixed term contract to help with the second phase of their iTrent implementation.
Client Location: Dorset (Hybrid/remote working possible)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Length of Contract: 24 months
Salary: £34 – £40k (negotiable dependent on experience)
Day-to-Day Duties:
- As a system expert, lead elements of the day to day maintenance, utilisation and optimisation of the HR&OD suite of technological solutions currently including iTrent, Employee / Manager Self Service Portal, reporting tool(s) and e-days
- Undertake a lead project role in the delivery of the Digital Enablers Programme as relevant to the Service, including self-service functionality in iTrent, e-recruitment, absence management and annual leave
- Using specialist knowledge and experience ensure operational efficiency and increased organisational performance in respect of system functionality, reporting, associated processes and procurement and implementation of new technology
- As directed, lead and ensure delivery of organisational reporting requirements through scheduled, batched and bespoke reporting and trend analysis, acting as a key liaison for data
- As required, manage and oversee the supply and analysis of multiple format staff related data to meet the strategic and operational needs of the organisation
- Analyse, identify and implement any changes to requirements for statistical data and ensure the development and implementation of systems and processes to meet revised requirements
- In collaboration with HR Technology and Analytics Manager manage the departmental reporting schedule, ensuring that information is provided in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure that the team proactively provides informed analysis of the data extracted to meet the requirements of the business
- Ensure that user manuals and online help screens are maintained by the team, informing users in advance of changes to processes or system functionality and ensure adherence by the team and other users
- Play a lead role in the development of working practices that enhance and assure the integrity and quality of staff data
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience of improving the usage of HR systems and processes
- Relevant experience of using HR systems and improving working ways
- Significant experience of developing system functionality and reporting requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of employment issues in a large organisation and the impact on HR staff data/information
