Income Recovery Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a highly established Housing Association based in Northamptonshire for an Income Recovery Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a Part-Time position and are looking to get someone started as soon as possible.
Location: Wellingborough - Hybrid working/Home based - with an option to book a desk in the office
Hours: 18.5 per week
Shifts: Monday to Wednesday
Length: Permanent
Salary: £14,675.00 based on an FTE of £29,350.00 + Essential Car Payment of £1,657 pro rata'd
Daily duties:

Delivering a high performing, customer focused income management service within a defined area

Help the association meet its corporate objectives by delivery of a proactive and preventative customer focused income management service within your area

Liaise with leaseholders, lenders and solicitors in relation to the recovery of monies owed from shared ownership, market rent and leaseholders

To maximise income and promote a culture of payment amongst their customers

Rent and service charges (all stock including garages)

Leasehold service charges
-
Support charges
-
Preventing Former Tenant Arrears
-
Recharges
-
Associated court costs
Essential Requirements:

Previous experience within a similar Income-focussed role
-
Good working knowledge of welfare reform and the benefits system

Experience of attending court
-
Experience of lone working, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
