Information Governance Lawyer – 3 months ongoing – Local Authority
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority in London, who are known for their excellent team culture, who are recruiting for a principal Lawyer to join their exciting team, to lead and manage the Employment, Education, Corporate and Criminal Litigation team.
This is a full-time assignment (35 hours), with initially 3 months being offered. The role is also being offered on a remote basis.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload. They will be required to have:
- An information governance background with experience in Freedom of information and with the Data Protection Act
- Ideally someone with project management experience
Responsibilities:
- Deal with SAR requests
- Managing paralegals
The rate is £40 to £45 per hour umbrella for this position.
The ideal candidate would have a background in local authority.
