Information Manager urgently required

Salary: £48,526 - £54,619 p.a. & excellent benefits
Hours: Full-time (37.5, Monday-Friday, 9-5)
Venn Group are currently working with a public sector organisation in the South West, who are seeking an Information Manager to provide ongoing training, learning, development as well as general IT support to their team.
Day to Day Duties:
- Work with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and provide specialist health information support to develop information services which support service objectives and decision making
- Lead on training, learning, development and succession planning
- Develop project briefs, work plans and co-ordinate activities across information team members and other services & teams where required to successfully deliver outputs
- Contribute to the development of the trusts information governance strategy and policies for information management
- Manage and maintain data quality and assurance processes to ensure the dissemination of high-quality information outputs which are accurate and can be used with confidence
- Design and develop analytics and reporting services to innovate and enhance the quality and availability of actionable insight to improve the delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient care
- Co-ordinate new work requests into the service, liaising with operational leads to scope reporting requirements and agree prioritisation of deliverables
Essential requirement:
- Substantial experience within health care analytics
- Demonstrable SQL proficiency with experience writing, troubleshooting and performance tuning complex SQL scripts and procedures, and in mentoring others in this area
- Applied experience in visualisation analytics platforms like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik
- Educated to master's level, or equivalent knowledge, experience & expertise in Health Informatics
