Interim Performance/Improvement Manager – Children’s Services
Based: London (1 day per week in office)
Length: 3 months initially

Key Responsibilities for the Service Improvement Manager:
- Support a range of performance management and improvement activities and data to support Children’s Social Care statutory reports and returns
- Building reports and insights using tools such as Business Objects, Power BI and Excel
- Work closely with Children’s Social Care team members to understand their complex data, and build and support Power BI dashboards to meet the reporting requirements
- Lead on the practical, innovative and creative approach to develop intelligence and to measure outcome delivery and support management to drive continuous improvement
- Line management of one data officer
Skills and experience required Service Improvement Manager:
- Significant experience in data analysis and interpreting complex qualitative and quantitative data; drawing conclusions and compellingly presenting finding to suit a variety of different audiences
- Completing / managing submissions of statutory returns eg CIN census, LAC, fostering
- Ideally with past experience/exposure to Children’s Social Care business needs
- Familiarity with OFSTED frameworks and inspection regimes
- Excellent in-depth experience of working in Business Objects, Excel, Mosaic
