Interim Commissioning Manager
Location: London
Length: 3 months initially
IR35 Status: Inside
Our local authority client is looking to recruit a Commissioning Manager with a strong background/experience of Commissioning LD (Adults) Services to support their busy team.
The key components:
- End to end strategic delivery of integrated commissioning, transformation and service improvement activity programmes/projects around Adults services
- Understand requirements of taking reports to members and performing the whole commissioning function in terms of tendering and developing services around Adults Social Care and LD services
- Use co-production principles to identify, engage and involve services users, communities and other stakeholders in all work
- Undertake any special assignments or projects in a planned and professional manner ensuring that any work undertaken is completed within agreed timeframes and given budget with the desired outcomes
- To maintain an awareness of the risks to the department and the Council as a result of the delivery of the change, taking necessary action to minimise those
Experience required:
- Strong delivery experience of commissioning around Adults services
- Strong written report writing skills
- Previously worked in a local authority
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across a diverse partnership group, internally and externally
- Ability to communicate effectively and navigate remote working
