Interim Finance Technician
Location: London (remote for the time being)
IR35: Inside
Length: 3 months initially
We are currently supporting a London Borough who are looking to bring in an interim Accountant to support the Finance team that covers the ‘Place’ portfolio for the Council
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the ‘Place’ finance team which constitutes Housing / Transport / Parks / Libraries
- Working with service areas on reconciliation transactional finance elements
- Review and prepare S106 capital drawdowns within the division
- Monitor all y/end entries and journal approval
- Maintain relationships with Budget Holders on in budget setting and monitoring
Experience required:
- Must have worked in a Local Authority previously/recently, ideally in areas such as housing and regeneration
- Demonstrable technical accounting experience and skills
