Interim Head of Service/Operations – Adults (Learning Disabilities)
Location: South England
Length: 6 months initially
IR35 Status: Inside
One of our regional local authority clients is looking to recruit a Head of Service/Senior Operations Manager with previous experience working at Head of Service level in Adults Services.
The key components:
- Plan and ensure service delivery within a diverse environment
- Focus will be surrounding care of those with learning disabilities and lifelong care
- Line management of at least four people who cover specific geographical area within the county
- This role sits as part of the senior management level in adult services
Experience required:
- Prior experience in head of service role
- Previous experience working in Social care and Safeguarding
- Experience working with individuals with learning and disabilities
- Background in adults Services
- Management of large complex projects and programmes
- A good understanding of the issues facing local government and the way in which local government broadly operates
