We are currently supporting a fast-paced London Local Authority recruit a number of interim roles into their Procurement team.
Interim Category Manager for Health and Social Care
Based: London (hybrid working, x1 day per week in the office)
Length: 3 months with possibility of extension
IR35: Inside, £550pd umbrella
- To provide a professional procurement service for strategic procurement across the Health and Social Care portfolio, which meets the needs of the Council and progressively achieves cost savings and other targeted benefits
- Provide effective line management of a Procurement Category Officer and work across a range of large and complex procurement activities and frameworks
Interim Procurement Officer – Construction and FM
Based: London (hybrid working, mostly remote)
Length: 3 months with possibility of extension
IR35: Inside, £425pd umbrella
- To provide a professional procurement service for the procurement across the Construction and FM care portfolio
- Engage, work closely with and advise a variety of stakeholders on best practice category management
- Support the Category Manager in developing and delivering the Category Plan, which enables service areas to obtain VFM in identified procurement activity and to ensure that required outcomes are delivered
- Undertake market research, analyse spend and contract data, develop sourcing plans, undertake benchmarking and soft market testing and have ownership of a number of sub-categories
