Our client, an esteemed Local Authority is seeking experienced Regeneration Programme Managers to lead on multiple town centre improvement and workspace delivery programmes after securing an increase in funding. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the management of various stages of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion in a local authority setting.
Position: Regeneration Programme Manager
Period: 6 months initially
Hours: Full time
Location: London
Rate: £500 - £600 per day
IR35 status: Inside
Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of high-profile town centre programmes to ensure the economic recovery and regeneration of the area or workspace conversion programmes
- Delivering on refurbishment and new build plans on time and within budget to the best of your ability
- Handling procurement processes of consultants and contractors surrounding refurbishment and new build projects
- Development of good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and issues are quickly resolved
- Dealing with project issues in a creative manner while following policies and procedures in place
Desired experience:
- Proven track record in delivering town centre improvement projects from initiation to completion in a client-side capacity in a local authority setting
- Strong communication and people management skills with experience presenting ideas and reports effectively to senior members
- Hold technical knowledge surrounding housing, commercial and capital projects to advise internal and external stakeholders
